RETURN POLICY
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, SHOP BEAUTY DEPOT has put in place a COVID-19 RESPONSE & POLICIES for all of our customers.
FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY WE ARE PLACING AN EMERGENCY RETURN POLICY FOR THE WELL BEING OF BOTH OUR CUSTOMERS & EMPLOYEES. WE WANT TO ENSURE THAT ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS ARE GETTING NEW PRODUCTS & OUR EMPLOYEES ARE NOT HANDLING POTENTIALLY UNSAFE RETURNS, SO WE HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS TEMPORARY POLICY. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER:
All orders, regardless of purchase date, cannot be return/exchange between MARCH 19, 2020 - AUGUST 31, 2020. No order will be eligible for RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. If order is NOT cancelled before shipment, there is no way to return/exchange once it has left our facility. Please verify all items are correct prior to shipment! Thank you for understanding and shopping with us.
ALL EXPEDITED SHIPPING GUARANTEED TIME FRAMES ARE SUSPENDED BY USPS AND/OR UPS.
Shop Beauty Depot is dedicated to bringing you an unparalleled shopping experience from start to finish! We will happily accept returns for Shop Beauty Depot products within 30* days from delivery date. Only customers with a delivery address outside of the continental United States have 45* days from delivery to return items. Items must be in new, unopened, and original packaged condition.
Eligible Returns:
- Brand new, unopened and unused items in original packaging
- Items that match up with customer's order invoice (color, quantity, or style)
- Non-Sale, full priced items
- Items that are within 30* days from delivery (45* days for delivery addresses outside the continental U.S. only)
- Defected items
Ineligible Returns:
- Sale or Final Sale items cannot be returned for any reason
- Orders with the incorrect shipping address and sent back to sender
- Cosmetics
- Wigs and Jewelry of any kind due to sanitation guidelines
- Used items
- Hair Dye (semi or permanent)
- Items that are opened
- Items with opened or damaged packaging
- Hair product/chemicals (non-refundable unless wrong item sent)
- Items that are past 30* days from delivery (45* days for deliveries outside the continental U.S only- No exceptions)
*If pack of hair is tampered with of any sort, refund will NOT be issued. (Taken out and put back incorrectly, etc). Please adhere to this policy.
To Start a Return:
- Please enter the reason for return or exchange here https://returns.richcommerce.co/return/new?c=beautydepotostore.
- Include pictures, your order invoice, and a detailed description of the reason for return. This will help speed up the return process.
- After a #teambd member reviews your request, you will receive an email regarding your return request within 24-48 business hours.
*Please make sure that ShopBeautyDepot.com is not considered spam so that you receive notification in a timely manner.
Shipping A Return:
Once your return request has been approved, a #teambd member will reach out to you with the cost of return shipping. Return shipping cost will either be processed:
- In a separate invoice or
- Based on the return issue, may be deducted from your refund amount if pre-paid label service is selected as the shipping method
If you choose to use a different shipping service other then USPS, you MUST email shopbeautydepot@gmail.com with the appropriate tracking information and company name.

Processing Shipping Refunds :
Shipping refunds are not guaranteed/non-refundable. Refunds for shipping is based on the discretion of Shop Beauty Depot. In some cases, depending on the nature of return/exchange shipping will be refunded if error was made by Shop Beauty Depot.
With returns that are based on shipping error made by Shop Beauty Depot, Shop Beauty Depot will absorb the shipping fee and returns will be shipped by UPS or USPS.
The customer is responsible for shipping costs of unwanted merchandise. Shop Beauty Depot can issue a return label via email or customer can utilize another shipping service to return their merchandise.
- SHIPPING COST will be "APPLIED" for free/free ground shipping
- SHIPPING COST will be billed again for orders with incorrect an address and need to be re-shipped
- SHIPPING COST will not be refunded, if package is rejected or returned to sender
Processing Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected:
- An email will be sent to notify you that we have received your returned item and if approved, verify return shipping information.
- Based on the return issue, you will also be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund. You may incur a 20-50% restocking fee on any returns based on product conditions. All returns and exchanges can be rejected if inspection has shown signs of damage and/or use that were not communicated before the return and/or created during shipping and handling.
- If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to original method of payment within 3-5 business days. If the length of your return is extended past the 3-5 business day period, please contact your financial institution first before notifying us.
Late or Missing Refunds:
If your accepted and processed return has not been received after the 3-5 business day period, please contact your financial institution first. Business days do not include the weekend. After contacting your financial institution to inquire the status of your refund, please feel free to contact us if it is a different issue.
- Contact us with the order number and refund amount in the subject line at shopbeautydepot@gmail.com. This is important as your refund issue may be lost in our corporate email otherwise.
Issue with Order
Any issue with order is to be made within two to three business days of receiving order. We handle numerous of orders and may not be able to recollect order if reported after given time window. If not notified within specific time frame, we reserve the right to deny claim or honor any information after that date. We strongly suggest taking photos/images of items received and invoice to support claim. Beauty Depot reserves the right to honor/dishonor claim without credible information to support claim.
Gifts:
Gifted items should have been received with a gift receipt. With the receipt, we will gladly refund the amount of purchase unto a gift card/coupon code. Gifted items are required to be under the same condition as a general return.
If the item was gifted without a receipt, the gift giver must initiate any return/exchange process as if the item was a general return/exchange. It must be within the 30-day period that begins at original date of purchase.
Returning any gift items may incur a shipping fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
